The ski retreat was amazing... I had so much fun this weekend with Clay, Justin, Ruth, Elcie and most of all Katy. We had so much fun watching Napoleon Dynamite, playing spoons, taking Clays cell phone, playing cards and poker, listening to Anthony our speaker... all of it was great...

That was our theme song for the weekend... it is a great song that is by the lead singer of my personal favorite band- Lifehouse... so yeah it was really cool to get to hear that song live... yeah... Jason kept talking about this passage from the Chronicles of Narnia...
"Then He isn't safe?" said Lucy.
"Safe?" said Mr. Beaver; "don't you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe? Of 'Course he isn't safe. But He's good. He's the King I tell you."
God is not safe is the biggest thing that we learned this weekend. But he is good. There are stories of people all over the place that did not do the safe thing but they did the good thing. Miah, I am proud of you bud. Christi, I am proud of you. Dave, I am rooting for you. Thanks for sharing your stories with us. It was a great retreat and I am so glad that I went.
